General Info

Tucked along Westwood Boulevard, Laziz Grill at 1896 Westwood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90025, United States offers a relaxed introduction to Persian cuisine right in the heart of the neighborhood. From the moment you step inside, the space feels welcoming and casual. The atmosphere is simple and comfortable, making it an easy place to enjoy a meal whether you're stopping by with family, grabbing dinner with friends, or bringing the kids along for a laid-back evening.

One of the first things that stands out when browsing the menu is the variety of traditional Persian dishes prepared with care. The Kabob Torsh quickly became a favorite during my visit. The flavors were bold yet balanced, with the meat cooked just right and paired beautifully with the classic Persian seasonings. Another standout is the Ghormeh Sabzi, a deeply aromatic herb stew that feels comforting from the first bite. It’s the kind of dish that reminds you why Persian cooking is known for rich, layered flavors.

Beyond the main entrées, Laziz Grill also offers several traditional starters and lighter dishes that round out the dining experience. The Fava Beans are a pleasant surprise on the menu-simple, hearty, and satisfying. Meanwhile, the Satay brings a slightly different flavor profile that pairs well with other dishes if you’re sharing plates. For something warm and nourishing, the Barley Soup Ash Jo delivers a comforting bowl that feels perfect on cooler evenings. Together, these dishes showcase the diversity of the kitchen and make the menu feel thoughtfully curated.

Convenience is another reason why Laziz Grill continues to attract local diners. The restaurant offers no-contact delivery, which makes it easy to enjoy Persian food at home without compromising on quality. For guests visiting in person, there is a wheelchair accessible parking lot, ensuring the location is easy to reach for everyone. The environment remains casual and family-friendly, and it’s clearly good for kids, making it a practical option for relaxed family dinners.

Payment is simple as well, with debit cards accepted, which adds another layer of convenience for everyday dining. While the setting is unpretentious, the focus on flavorful food and welcoming service creates an experience that feels genuine. Whether you're exploring Persian cuisine for the first time or simply looking for a dependable neighborhood spot, Laziz Grill stands out as a comfortable place where good food and easygoing dining come together.

What customers say?

“ I recently stopped by Laziz Grill in Westwood, and wow... what a great experience. If you're into authentic Persian food (or curious to try it), this place is a must. The menu has something for everyone whether you're a meat lover or vegetarian, you'll find plenty of delicious options. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and full of flavor, just like a homemade Persian meal. Honestly, every bite was amazing. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, and the service? Super friendly and attentive. You can tell the staff really care about what they’re serving. Hands down, it’s a solid 10 out of 10 from me. I’ll definitely be back soon and bringing friends with me. ”

“ Love this place! Fresh, delicious, clean, fresh and again fresh. It’s famous for grab and go’s, however, have nice indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere. We had Tongue Sandwich, Koobideh Sandwich and noodle soup ( Ash Reshte). All were great and my favorite one was Tongue Sandwich. Laziz Grill is now on my favorite list in Westwood ”

“ We have enjoyed lunch and dinner takeout and dined in, and all above have been great! You feel the good vibe at Laziz Grill. The team is welcoming and service minded. Their food are tasty, and the portions are generous. The ladies were kind and generous and offered us their tasty sholezard and didn't let is pay for it. We have tried many of their dishes and we will try the ones we didn't in the future. Thank you and wishing you continued success. ”

“ It isn't fancy, but the food here was the best Persian food I've sampled in LA, to date. I lived in Iran for 3.5 years and live on the east coast. There is only one decent Persian restaurant in my entire area. So, when I come to LA, I try to sample a different place each time since this is the home to so many Iranian expats. This is my 5th place, and really, for such an unassuming spot, it was great. The space is small, only a few tables and it looks like a deli/carryout...but do yourselves a favor and eat in -- the food comes out piping hot and tasty! The lovely women running the store were gracious and kind, and the food was delish. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I'm in LA! ”

“ All around fantastic food. Lamb shank, Fesenjun and the tomato eggplant appetizer with egg whites were the big winners. Not much atmosphere but we went there for the food and it was worth the try. Good price point too. ”
